Children will Have a lot of Fun This Summer-2

Karsiyaka Municipality, which increased the number of social, cultural and sportive activities aiming for the children as the schools closed, opened summer school in 21 different branches. Mayor Hüseyin Mutlu Akpınar, who made the opening of courses with the ceremony that was organized at Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Karşıyaka Sports Hall said: “With our summer schools, we provide the opportunity to our children to spend quality time during the vacation period and we are creating environments for them to be able to both learn and to have fun.

Shows that were Realized on the First Day were Glamorizing

Opening of summer schools that are organized by Karşıyaka Municipality to meet children with cultural, artistic, and sportive activities in the summer months, is realized with a joyful cere-mony being organized at Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Karsiyaka Sports Hall.  The shows of minor sporters being realized before the opening glamorized the parents who filled the hall. Mayor Akpınar shared the excitement of minor students.

There is Training in Each Branch

Within the scope of sports schools that will provide services to the adults in certain branches as well, basketball, volleyball, swimming, table tennis, court tennis, Latin dances, ballet, canoe, football, gymnastics, judo, and archery courses are opened by Municipality Directorate of Sports Affairs. Within the body of Directorate of Social Aid Affairs, trainings for painting, marbling art, intellectual games, public games, chess, English, drama, Salsa, and Bachata are started. Trainings will be realized in 12 different facilities.

Karsiyaka Mayor Hüseyin Mutlu Akpınar said: “We give a lot of importance to sports for the spiritual, physical and social development of our children, who are the security of our future, and we are working to raise a generation growing with sports. With the courses that we opened this summer, we are providing the opportunity to do sports in secure and modern environments with economic conditions. We are living the pride of giving services to the citizens of Karşıyaka from all ages. Our children will learn about team spirit, sharing, sports ethics and culture. They will also find the opportunity to meet with culture and art.”
